The American College of Epidemiology (ACE) will host it’s 2022 Annual Meeting in a hybrid format on September 8-11, 2022. The theme of this year’s meeting is “Pandemic of Misinformation: Building Trust in Epidemiology.”
Speakers include experts on identifying and responding to misinformation and disinformation in public health, government and community initiatives to build trust with diverse communities, and strategies for effective communication with policymakers and other stakeholders.
The meeting will kick-off on Thursday with didactic and interactive workshops and a speed networking event. Friday's speakers include the opening keynote speaker, Dr. Chandra Ford, Professor and Founding Director of the Center for the Study of Racism, Social Justice, and Health at UCLA, acclaimed author, Carl Bergstrom, epidemiologist/former Vice President of the Republic of China (Taiwan), Chen Chien-Jen and our own, Dr. Felina Cordova-Marks.
