Dr. Bridget Murphy and Nick Ward encourage everyone to attend the Pathways to Prevention opportunity fair event hosted by the Team Awareness Combatting Overdose (TACO) student group.
The event will be held Wednesday, November 13th from 10am-3pm at the University of Arizona Main Library Rooms B252/254.
The TACO team hopes to expose students and community members to fulfilling and meaningful work in basic and translational research, education, public health, legislation, and community outreach. This event aims to inspire students to pursue longitudinal work in these fields to empower future generations to end the opioid epidemic.
This will be a great opportunity to connect with students on potential internships, service learning, health insurance, and other possibilities. We know engagement in educational and community activities is an important protective factor for substance use. Please participate!
