Biography
Lisa Kopp, DO, MPH is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Arizona Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health where she conducts clinical research and is a guest lecturer. Dr. Kopp is a board certified pediatric oncologist with clinical expertise in the treatment of patients diagnosed with sarcomas. She completed her doctorate of osteopathic medicine at Michigan State University. She completed her pediatric residency training at Wayne State University-Children’s Hospital of Michigan and her pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship training at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Kopp worked at Banner University Medical Center and the University of Arizona College of Medicine from 2010-2018 in the Department of Pediatrics and the Division of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology. She completed her Master of Public Health with a specialization in Epidemiology at the University of Arizona Mel & Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health in 2016. During that time, she led the Pediatric Oncology clinical research team and co-led the Sarcoma clinical research team. In 2019, Dr. Kopp joined Covance as a Medical Director and the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health as an Adjunct Associate Professor. She is a member of the Scientific Review Committee at the University of Arizona Cancer Center. Dr. Kopp is a member of Children’s Oncology Group serving on the Bone Tumor Committee and co-leads the Sarcoma Adolescent and Young Adult NCTN/SARC Clinical Trials Working Group.
