Shannon Newton

Shannon Newton, MPH, CIH, is a Senior Lecturer at the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health (MEZCOPH) where she develops and teaches courses in the areas of Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health Sciences, and One Health. Ms. Newton coordinates the NIOSH Training Project Grant and is involved in recruitment activities for the Department of Community, Environment and Policy. Newton graduated from the United States Air Force Academy with a B.S. in Environmental Engineering and from the University of Arizona, MEZCOPH with a Master of Public Health. She was certified in 2000 as a Certified Industrial Hygienist by the Board for Global EHS Credentialing.
