Research within the field of Diabetes at our college focuses on understanding the prevalence of diabetes within specific populations determining the effects of this prevalence on other areas of a person’s health, and identify effective means of improving the health of those with diabetes.
The primary research at Zuckerman College of Public Health is to advance fundamental, translational, and applied research that addresses the health needs of diverse populations and aims to make a profound and measurable impact on the health and well being of Arizonans and those living in the Southwest. The College’s research office fosters and supports this goal.
