The microbiological and chemical quality of water has acute and chronic public health implications. Efforts to understand, improve, and manage water quality and associated risks are the focus of many projects in our college as we aim to ensure safe water quality is accessible for all.
The primary research at Zuckerman College of Public Health is to advance fundamental, translational, and applied research that addresses the health needs of diverse populations and aims to make a profound and measurable impact on the health and well being of Arizonans and those living in the Southwest. The College’s research office fosters and supports this goal.
