Dr. Zhao Chen

Dr. Zhao Chen, professor and director of the epidemiology and biostatistics division of the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health, is the recipient of the 2012 University of Arizona Outstanding Faculty Award by the Asian American Faculty, Staff and Alumni Association (AAFSAA).

The Outstanding Faculty Award is given to those who represent the highest professional levels of excellence, diversity and depth of scholarship, service and talent.

Dr. Chen was presented with the award at the AAFSAA’s 23rd Annual Scholarship and Awards dinner at the Tucson Chinese Cultural Center on Friday night.
