Dean Ornish, physician, best-selling author and pioneering researcher on fighting heart disease with dietary and lifestyle changes, spoke to a full house at DuVal Auditorium in the University of Arizona Medical Center-Tucson Campus on Monday night.

The lecture was free and open to the public with support from the James E. Dalen Distinguished Lecture for Health Policy and the UA Mel & Enid Zuckermn College of Public Health.
Dr. Ornish is the founder and president of the non-profit Preventive Medicine Research Institute and clinical professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. He is a best-selling author of six books, including: Dr. Dean Ornish's Program for Reversing Heart Disease; Eat More, Weigh Less; Love & Survival; and his most recent book, The Spectrum.
