Communication on Transition of ASHLine Services
August 23, 2022
The University of Arizona has provided evidence-based tobacco treatment and training services to Arizona residents and healthcare providers since 1995. However, at this time we regret to inform you that we will cease offering services effective September 17, 2022.
The Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) has awarded the Arizona Smokers’ Helpline (ASHLine) contract to National Jewish Health at the University of Colorado, effective October 1, 2022. For questions about the tobacco quit line and referral services offered at ASHLine by National Jewish Health, please call the Arizona Smokers’ Helpline at: 1-800-55-66-222 on or after September 17, 2022.
All of us at the Arizona Center for Tobacco Cessation in the UArizona Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health have valued the opportunity to improve the health of Arizonans by reducing tobacco use and tobacco related disease. It has been our privilege to provide high-quality tobacco treatment and referral services to Arizona residents and healthcare providers over the last 27 years.
Best Wishes for Your Health and Safety,
