Many of our MEZCOPH alumni, friends and family were excited to connect with each other, leadership, and staff at the University of Arizona DC Center for a reception in March during the ASPPH annual meetings.

More than two dozen of our alumni, friends, and family members from the Washington, DC area gathered for a reception at the University of Arizona DC Center to share stories and connect with each other, and with college leadership and staff. We were delighted to join so many of our graduates who are now professionals working in federal agencies, and in national or state public health organizations, in the greater Washington DC area.

Dean Iman Hakim, college leaders, and staff were in DC for the annual meetings of the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH), a great opportunity to connect with alumni in the region. Dean Hakim welcomed everyone and was pleased to reconnect with many alumni and their partners. Everyone was able to tour the UArizona’s new DC Center, and admire the view looking out across the national mall from the roof deck of the building.

Thanks to all our alumni, friends, and family who joined us for this event! We thank you for your support of MEZCOPh and we’re excited to stay connected. We want to thank Amber Richmond, manager of alumni engagement and events for the college, who organized the event in collaboration Ryan Moore from the UArizona DC Center. We look forward to our next visit!
