“After taking an elective as a pre-med student and learning about human behaviors and society, and how discrimination can impact a person’s access to health education and health care, I decided to pivot to public health. “As a PhD student I worked very closely with my Statistician advisor and she has helped me become the Statistician I am today by focusing on the topics of clinical trials and patient experience data. My advisor has really helped me to essentially lead in terms of evaluating patient reported outcomes in cancer trials at the FDA. I am forever grateful for the education and the support that I received at MEZCOPH.”
