Kristen Pogreba-Brown, PhD, MPH
Associate Professor of Epidemiology at the Zuckerman College of Public Health.

Dr. Pogreba-Brown’s research is focused on the acute and long-term epidemiology and microbiology of bacterial foodborne pathogens and outbreak investigation methodologies. Her research activities focused on the post-infectious sequelae of infectious diseases have aligned her to focus new studies on the incidence and risk factors of post-acute sequelae of SARS-CoV-2. Dr. Pogreba-Brown goals are to investigate the mechanisms of pathogenesis seen in these diseases/conditions to the broader public health and epidemiologic data.
