Scholars, writers, artists, activists, policymakers, and community members will come together January 15-17, 2015, in Tucson, Ariz. to discuss WHY Black life matters and WHAT can be done about sustained, racialized state violence. The conference will include lectures, hands-on working sessions, performances, and social justice actions. The end of the conference will lead into planned Martin Luther King Jr. Day activities in Tucson, and visitors are invited to stay for these.
