We hope you will join us as the Pima County Health Department will be hosting a Summer Series documentary viewing of the PBS docuseries The Invisible Shield. This four-part series delves into the challenges faced by public health, including the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.  As public health employees, this docuseries is meant to deepen our understanding of the critical impact that we have on the lives of the public and to inspire us to continue our vital work in safeguarding human health. We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Katie Careaga from the UArizona Zuckerman College of Public Health as our guest facilitator, who will be leading a discussion following each viewing session. We will be providing a printed copy of the discussion guide to those who attend the kickoff event. Please feel free to bring your own drink and snack to enjoy while watching the in-person sessions.
