The University of Arizona Health Sciences Office of Diversity and Inclusion will present the inaugural UA Health Sciences LGBTQ+ Symposium and Community Fair: Inclusive Health Care, on Tuesday, Feb. 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event is presented by the UA Health Sciences LGBTQ+ Interest Group. Event sponsors are Banner – University Medicine and Palo Verde Behavioral Health.
Free and open to the public, the event will be held at the University of Arizona Cancer Center, Kiewit Auditorium, 1515 N. Campbell Ave., Tucson. (Please note: There is a parking fee of $1.50 per hour, cash only, in the Banner – University Medical Center Tucson visitor/patient parking garage.)

Keynote speakers are Susan Stryker, PhD, UA associate professor, women’s studies, and associate professor, UA Norton School of Family and Consumer Sciences, and Andrew Cronyn, MD, FAAP, pediatrician, El Rio Health.
The event will showcase LGBTQ+ community resources and research. Free health screenings will be provided from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. by Juntos Por La Salud Mobile Health Clinic.
