About the GHA

As a student-driven organization, the Global Health Alliance (GHA) aims to enhance students knowledge of how public health functions in a global context. GHA engages in the following activities:

• Providing opportunities for students and faculty to connect to local organizations and community service projects
• Facilitating discussion of global health and social justice issues and their relevance to the Southwest, and
• Promoting internships that increase student experience in global health and multicultural interaction.

All graduate and undergraduate students at The University of Arizona and the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health (MEZCOPH) are invited to join the GHA.
