PhD Minor in Biostatistics
The PhD Minor in Biostatistics is designed for individuals from other University of Arizona doctoral degree programs who wish to obtain graduate training in Biostatistics. The college form used to declare the minor should be completed and submitted prior to completion of the first semester of minor coursework. The Minor Advisor participates in the comprehensive exam process and must be included in the Comprehensive Exam Committee.
PhD Minor in Environmental Health Sciences
The PhD Minor in Environmental Health Sciencesis designed for individuals from other University of Arizona doctoral degree programs who wish to obtain graduate training in Environmental Health Sciences.The college form used to declare the minor should be completed and submitted prior to completion of the first semester of minor coursework. PhD Minor in Epidemiology
The PhD Minor in Epidemiology is designed for individuals from other University of Arizona doctoral degree programs who wish to obtain graduate training in Epidemiology. It requires completion of the first year Epidemiology and Biostatistics courses as well as one additional Epidemiology elective course. All Epidemiology minors will be required to complete a written examination of Epidemiology Principles. The college form used to declare the minor should be completed and submitted prior to completion of the first semester of minor coursework. The Minor Advisor participates in the comprehensive exam process and must be included in the Comprehensive Exam Committee.
PhD Minor in Health Behavior Health Promotion
The PhD Minor in Health Behavior Health Promotion (HBHP) is designed for individuals from other University of Arizona doctoral degree programs who wish to obtain graduate training in Health Behavior Health Promotion and is administered by the HBHP Section in the Zuckerman College of Public Health. The college form used to declare the minor should be completed and submitted prior to completion of the first semester of minor coursework. The Minor Advisor participates in the comprehensive exam process and must be included in the Comprehensive Exam Committee.
PhD Minor in Global Health
The PhD Minor in Global Health in the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health is designed for University of Arizona doctoral students who desire to obtain doctoral level training in global public health. This doctoral minor will provide participants with knowledge and skills necessary to engage effectively in global health policy and practice, whether at home in a diverse setting, or abroad where populations and communities are under-resourced, and where health systems are constrained. The college form used to declare the minor should be completed and submitted prior to completion of the first semester of minor coursework. A total of 12 course units are required, in addition to successful completion of an oral and written comprehensive exam that is individually tailored to the specific global health interests and career goals of each student.
PhD Minor in Public Health
The PhD Minor in Public Health is designed for individuals from other University of Arizona doctoral degree programs who wish to obtain graduate training in Public Health. The Public Health minor consists of a minimum of three Master of Public Health core courses and two concentration specifric courses agreed to by the student and his or her Minor Advisor. The college form used to declare the minor should be completed and submitted prior to completion of the first semester of minor coursework. The Minor Advisor participates in the comprehensive exam process and must be included in the Comprehensive Exam Committee. The PhD Minor in Public Health Total Minimum Credit Requirements: 15 units.
